Image archive
The image archive module is used to store digital images such as pictures of skin condition changes, sores developments, insurance documentation etc. in the patient’s case record file. The images are taken with a digital camera and are imported into the case record file.
Photography
If a photo department is part of the organization, a photographer can take pictures as an in-house service. The photo department can use different standard software packages to edit and enhance the pictures. When the photographer is satisfied with the editing, the final image can be imported into Prodoc TC and stored in the patient’s medical records.
Compression
The images are shown in the medical records in compressed form. The compression reduces storage space requirement and increases the speed of transfer when images are retrieved from the central server.
Attestation
When an image is imported into Profdoc HIS, the user specifies which ward and person is responsible for attestation. Imported images are transferred to those responsible and added to their attestation list. The care responsible can then check out the images directly on the screen to confirm that he or she has observed them.
Image format
Images are imported in JPEG-format
