Electronic replies

Profdoc can store electronic reply documents from a broad range of external systems. Such replies are produced by an external healthcare provider or service institution (e.g. laboratory) and are sent in electronic form directly into Profdoc through EDI.

In Profdoc, the relevant care responsible will review the replies and add them to the patient’s medical record. The replies can thereafter be read either as individual documents or in summaries and overviews.

Log

Each care unit has its own log where all replies are presented in chronological order. From the log, one can see which replies have come in during the day and review these replies if so desired. It is also possible to go back in time and to see what happened in terms of replies a certain day.

Laboratories

Profdoc can handle replies from:

  • Biochemistry lab
  • Microbiology lab
  • Pharmacology lab
  • Immunology lab
  • Histology/cytology lab
  • Virology lab
  • X-ray / isotope
  • Neurophysiology

Laboratory table

Results from biochemistry laboratories can be stored and presented in a two dimensional laboratory table. The laboratory table gives the user a simple overview to detect and review changes in certain values. The table can be configured and sorted according to the care unit’s requirements.
