Overviews

Overviews are used to present a summary of a patient’s medical records. The overviews are displayed on the computer screen and contain information from the different modules of Profdoc as well as information imported from ancillary information systems.

Creating your own overviews

Overviews are made with a built-in design tool, and are created on three different system levels in Profdoc:

  • Common overviews for all user
  • Ward-specific overview
  • Personal overviews

The design tool enables the user to create overviews which suit a specific purpose and interest. The design tool has a forms editor with a toolbox of standard objects. The standard objects have been created to present the system information in different ways.

Each object has numerous properties by which the user can change function and appearance. The changeable properties are e.g. size, position, lead texts, content, column widths etc.

Information deep-dives

The overviews give access to information from different parts of the patient’s medical records. For each piece of information it is possible to go deeper into the actual medical records and access further details.

Another useful feature is the possibility to move from the overview to relevant lists and functions that belong together with the overview. This feature is only a mouse click away.

Build your own Profdoc

By utilizing the different lists, overviews and commands in Profdoc it is possible to build your own portal with access to patient information.

By using command buttons (user configurable buttons which look like any normal Windows button) it is possible from one place to start different parts of Profdoc, e.g. open a patient’s laboratory table or read all measurement values.
