Measurements

The measurements module is a universal system to manage different kinds of measurements. Measurements in Profdoc are defined as observations which can be registered as numbers or as outcomes from a list of pre-defined possibilities.

Measurements can be presented in tables, as graphs or in documents.

Calculated values

A calculated value is a measurement which is derived by the system based on a pre-defined formula. A calculated value is for instance BMI (Body Mass Index). BMI is calculated based on recorded values for weight and height.

Registration control

All measurements and calculated values are defined and dynamically updated in the terminology index. All measurements can be defined with allowable max and min values, warning intervals, unit etc. During registration of measurements, the entered values are checked against the defined rules.

Tables

Measurements are presented in different types of tables. Profdoc allows the user to define tables and overviews which are common in the system or specific to a particular care unit.

Three types of timelines are available. One timeline shows the values hour by hour, another shows day-by-day measurements over a week, and a third shows the last 25 measurements with a broken timeline.

Graphs

All measurements can be viewed as graphs. Up to six different measurements can be presented in the same graphical display
