Profdoc offers a transaction service for the secure electronic exchange of patient data between healthcare organizations. All subscribers to the service can electronically exchange information such as electronic prescriptions, referrals and medical summaries from primary to secondary care, laboratory orders and results, casebooks, X-ray remittals and results etc.
Information sharing
Profdoc also offers a real-time information service that provides true patient-centric medical records created and shared by a multitude of healthcare providers. Here, healthcare personnel are offered the possibility to see a patient's complete medical history when and where it is needed, regardless of where the information originates.
This service also facilitates joint planning and booking between healthcare providers and provides for patient-oriented Internet services to simplify the citizens' interaction with the healthcare system.
