Information may be communicated in a variety of formats such as EDIFACT, XML, HL7 and binary data (i.e. images). PMI is a vendor independent service and available to all healthcare institutions regardless of vendor of their existing Healthcare IT system. 5. Profdoc Common Patient Services(Profdoc CPS)is a centralized master source of lifelong clinical information about individuals, based on the concept of ‘Lifetime Health Records’.
